Refund Policy

We strive to ensure a seamless experience for users and hosts/ parking owners on the UPC platform. Please carefully review our payment and refund policy below:

a) Payment Terms
  1. All bookings for parking slots are processed through UPC’s secure payment gateway.

  2. Users must pay the total amount specified for listing or renting a parking slot at the time of booking. This may include listing or platform fees which are non refundable.

  3. UPC does not store any payment details directly. All transactions are handled by third-party payment processors, subject to their terms and conditions.

  4. UPC only takes fees for listing or booking a parking slot. Subsequent or periodic payments maybe done directly to host/parking owner for continued or extended use of parking slot.

b) Booking Confirmations
  1. Once a payment is successfully made, users will receive a booking confirmation via email and/or the UPC app.

  2. The booking confirmation serves as proof of the reservation and must be presented when accessing the parking slot, if required by the host/parking owner.

c) Refund Eligibility

Refunds for booking are governed by the cancellation policy and individual notice period set by host/parking owner. UPC acts as an intermediary and does not make decisions on refunds directly. The following principles apply:

  1. Host-Defined Notice Period:

    • Hosts may set their own notice period, including timelines and conditions for partial or full refunds.

    • Users are advised to carefully review the host’s notice period before making a booking.

  2. Booking via Platform:

    • Eligible bookings maybe subject to refund based on cancellation policy.

    • No refund will be made for platform fees, listing fees and other payment gateway charges.

d) Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be provided in the following situations:

  1. The user fails to cancel the booking within the timeframe specified by cancellation policy.

  2. The user does not show up at the parking slot at the designated time.

  3. Misrepresentation or failure to comply with parking rules by the user or host, unless determined otherwise through a dispute resolution process.

  4. External factors such as traffic delays, weather conditions, or other unforeseen events.

e) Refund Processing
  1. Refund requests must be initiated through the UPC app or by contacting UPC support at refund@urbanparkconnect.com

  2. Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days and credited back to the original payment method.

  3. UPC reserves the right to deduct applicable transaction fees or penalties from the refund amount, as stipulated by the host’s cancellation policy or platform terms.

f) Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes related to refunds:

  1. Users and hosts are encouraged to resolve issues amicably through direct communication via the UPC platform.

  2. If a resolution cannot be reached, UPC’s support team may mediate the dispute. UPC’s decision will consider evidence from both parties and will be final and binding.
